REFEREE CLINIC IN MANKATO on Sunday, March 23


Must be 13 or older to certify as a referee.
US Soccer states a person must be 13 years old at the time they start their certification clinic. No exceptions. Some communities hold certification clinics at later dates. Check https://learning.ussoccer.com for other clinics if you have a later birthday.


Mankato is hosting on Sunday, March 23 a certified referee clinic for the 2025 season. Other clinics are in Rochester, Chaska, and other communities.

 

  • The referee clinic consists of a 2.5 in-person clinic.
  • One hour is dedicated in the field, the rest consists of video lessons, Q&A, and games with breaks in between.
  • The referee clinic is at Prairie Winds Middle School
  • 12:00-2:30 (session 1)
  • 2:30-5:00 (session 2)

NEW ASSIGNING PLATFORM


Game Officials, the assigning platform the club has used for many years will be discontinued on March 29, 2024 . The club has agreed to use Stack Sports as the new assigning platform starting in the 2024 Summer-Fall season.

  • Mankato United will send a "trial assignment" to all certified and Rec referees a few weeks before the beginning of the Summer season so you get familiar with the new program.
  • You will receive a Welcome message. It will go to the email address we have on file

  • If you already have an account in Sports Connect, you should be able to use the same user name and password to sign in but you won't have access until the Welcome message is sent sometime in March.
