Registration Deadline July 26, 2024
Fall 2024 registration fees:
Late registrations are accepted if there is room on the appropriate roster for the player. Any late registration includes a fee of $50.
PlayMetrics Registration System
PlayMetrics is a fully integrated, all-in-one software solution built specifically for youth soccer. PlayMetrics eliminates the need for our club to use multiple platforms (e.g., TeamSnap) and streamline communication with our members. Click the link below for a user guide showing how to use PlayMetrics for your player(s).
Team Formation
Fall 2024 teams will be built using evaluations by Mankato United DOC staff and competitive coaches for all 10U-13U teams. 9U teams will all play at the Blue level.
Teams will be formed and communicated by 8/1/2024, and we anticipate training to begin by 8/5/2024. Questions on team formation can be directed to Hisham Sorour, coaching@mankatounited.org.
Coaches
9U-12U teams must have at least one volunteer coach. If a volunteer coach is not found for the team, Mankato United will assist the team in identifying a paid coach. Families will be required to split the cost of hiring a coach.
Practices & League Game
Teams are single-gender and typically practice on weeknights.
*Special Note: in past seasons, the age groups eligible to play high school soccer have had lower numbers register to play. We have formed co-ed teams that compete in the boys league to allow our players to play.
Games:
Travel is an integral part of the competitive soccer experience. Before registering, please consider your commitment to this aspect of the program. Travel is usually to other SMSL or MYSA member teams in a 1-hour radius but could include games like Marshall, Winona, or La Crosse, WI.
Competitive Team Financial Obligations
Additional costs are involved when teams choose to attend a tournament. Mankato United reimburses teams up to $400 for tournament registration. Any price above that amount is split evenly among all players on the team, and each player is responsible for paying this cost. The team manager or coach is responsible for collecting these funds. See Competitive Team Commitments for more information.
